    The List-Magnetik FERRITE-CHECK 140 is a compact and user-friendly ferrite content meter designed for measuring ferrite content in austenitic and duplex steels, following the Basel standard DIN EN ISO 8249 via the magnetic induction method. This handy device features an integrated probe and is particularly crucial for assessing ferrite content in welded duplex steels, ensuring that welds have sufficient ferrite to maintain their strength. Inadequate heat input or cooling during welding could result in a lower ferrite content, compromising the weld's integrity.

    Operating the FERRITE-CHECK 140 is effortless, thanks to its single-button control and intuitive, multilingual menu navigation. The high-contrast, illuminated OLED display clearly presents measurements in terms of FN and Fe%. For smooth or polished surfaces, the device can be switched to a fast continuous measurement mode, allowing users to easily detect weld seams. As the probe moves over the surface, it continuously stores measurements and, once lifted, it displays statistics including the minimum, maximum, and average values.

    The FERRITE-CHECK 140 is supplied with three calibration standards, each traceably calibrated to the NIST standard, ensuring precision and reliability. For enhanced data processing, the device can wirelessly connect to mobile devices running Android or iOS, as well as Windows PCs. The Lima Connect App facilitates this connectivity, enabling project management and measurement point assignment on photos. Users can also conduct statistical evaluations and display results graphically. The app is available for free on Android, iOS, and Windows platforms, enhancing the versatility and functionality of the FERRITE-CHECK 140.
