The Type 2000 Magnetic Stripe Card is used to instantly evaluate the performance of wet fluorescent magnetic particle inspection baths. It quantitatively assesses fluorescent magnetic materials by displaying the number of observable indications after application to the stripe. Magnetic Stripe Cards are recognized in ASTM E 709, Appendix X4, and ASTM E 3024, Appendix X2, as tools for evaluating wet fluorescent magnetic particle inspection systems.
