    Description

    EchoPure™ couplant is a water-free, water soluble ultrasonic couplant designed and perfectly suited for Phased Array Manual UT Inspection (PAMUT).  EchoPure works by eliminating dry spots under the wedge (and resulting element drop out) and improves your ability to reproduce defects.  There is no couplant build up with EchoPure, eliminating false indications.

    EchoPure possesses a broad operating temperate range, is slow drying and provides excellent transducer lubrication.

    EchoPure is P91 compliant, a steel inspection requirement for a water-free couplant.

    EchoPure couplant is perfect for very cold inspections (liquid gas piping and refrigerant lines) and will not frost or attenuate at temperatures as low as -60°F.

    EchoPure is equally effective at higher temperature applications such as warm welds of up to 350°F and on pipes that are exposed to direct, desert sun, when slow evaporation and long inspection windows are needed.

    EchoPure has also won approval for use in food processing plant due to its low toxicity and environmentally friendly composition.
