The DA-200 Contour Probe is a portable, self-contained device designed to generate a magnetic field on or within ferrous-magnetic materials. It combines selective AC and DC functions into one dependable instrument.

The AC mode generates a powerful AC field for detecting surface defects and demagnetizing after inspection, while the DC mode creates a strong Half Wave Rectified DC field for identifying certain sub-surface defects. With its flexible articulating legs and durable molded housing, the Contour Probe is versatile enough for use on nearly any part or surface contour, whether in the lab, factory, or field site.
