    Description


    Chemetall Ardrox 8505 is a high-sensitivity fluorescent magnetic powder ideal for detection of surface or near-surface defects in ferromagnetic materials. The finely-divided particles in Ardrox 8505 will fluoresce brilliant yellow/green under ultraviolet radiation with a wavelength of 365 nm. Particles were selected for their prolonged operational life, low coercivity, and high magnetic response.

    Ardrox 8505 Wet Method Fluorescent Powder conforms to the standards of ASME Boiler & Vessel Code Section V Article 7, CEN ISO 9934-2, Rolls Royce RRP 580004-MILC104 (approval), SAE AMS 3044, and Safran IN-5300.
