The Waygate Technologies Krautkramer USM Go+ Ultrasonic Flaw Detector AWS Weld Kit, a Baker Hughes business product (formerly GE Inspection Technologies), is a complete UT flaw detection system that comes with the standard DAC, AWS, and SWP configurations. 

The package also includes an AWS Gamma probe and 3 AWS wedges (45°, 60°, and 70°) to assist in weld flaw detection, all at varying angles to increase Probability of Detection within AWS standards.

This Waygate USM Go+ AWS Weld Kit offers all of the benefits of the current USM Go+ models, including: 

• Portability - Small size and weight allow the instrument to be easily operated in confined spaces and areas of difficult access.
• Long-Lasting Power - Battery provides up to 5.5 hours of operation. Can be recharged on- or off-board.
• Easy-to-Read Screen - An 800x480 pixel display, which is better resolution than a standard DVD.
• Ease of Use - Features one-hand operation, leaving the other hand free for other tasks, such as maintaining probe in optimum position or holding onto ladders. All controls are within fingertip reach. User can dedicate four function keys according to preference.
• Right or Left Handed Operation - A "Flip" function allows the instrument to be used equally well by left-handed and right-handed people.
• Versatile and Upgradeable - Customized versions of the USM Go+ are also available, specially adapted to meet specific inspection codes or applications. For example, an optional square wave pulser can be supplied for applications involving the inspection of highly attenuative material, such as castings and forgings.
