The Waygate Krautkramer Velocity Upgrade Option, with Interface Cable,, a Baker Hughes business product (formerly GE Inspection Technologies), offers an added measurement mode to determine the velocity of known thicknesses of material. This upgrade option is for the CL5 Ultrasonic Thickness gauge and requires a digital caliper, sold-separately. The caliper can be attached to the CL5, electronically sending thickness values to the unit. Material thickness can also be added manually on the CL5 keyboard. Velocity value and thickness can be stored in the Data Recorder and downloaded to a PC.
