Berg offers several different Magnaflux Wet Horizontal Units including the D Series, A/ADH/AD Series and the MD Series.
The D Series are the most powerful wet bench units offering maximum magnetization using minimal power. Our D Series units include the D-2060 Wet Horizontal Unit and the D-2100 Wet Horizontal Unit.
The D-2060 Wet Horizontal Unit is a 3-phase, full wave DC unit operating at up to 6,000 Amps and a 54” (137 cm) capacity. Additional options for the D-2060 include long part capacity at 102”, extra long part capacity at 146” and a dual palm button as well as different sized coils (16”, 20”, 25” and 19.5”) to replace the standard 12” coil. Other options include a reinforced rail for heavier parts (4,000 lb capacity), oversize contact assembly, rotating contacts, additional Amp output and different available voltages (230, 380, 415, 460 and 575).
The D-2100 Wet Horizontal Unit is a 3-phase, full wave DC unit operating at up to 10,000 Amps and a 54” (137 cm) capacity. Additional options for the D-2100 include long part capacity at 102”, extra long part capacity at 146” and a dual palm button as well as different sized coils (16”, 20”, 25” and 19.5”) to replace the standard 12” coil. The A/ADH/AD Series are the most economical standard wet bench units with the ability to use either AC or DC magnetization (except A-2030) in order to find surface defects. Both outputs can be adjusted independently for a circular or longitudinal magnetic field.
The A-2030 Wet Horizontal Unit is a 3,000 Amp unit with a 54” (137 cm) capacity. Options for the A-2030 include long part capacity (102”), dual palm button, reinforced rail for heavier parts (4,000 lb capacity), oversized contact assembly, rotating contacts and a 16” coil to replace the standard 12” coil. The available voltages are 230, 380, 415, 460 and 575.
The ADH-2045 Wet Horizontal Unit is a 4,000 Amp AC, 5,000 Amp full wave DC unit with a 54” (137 cm) capacity. Options for the ADH-2045 include a long part capacity (102”), dual palm button, reinforced rail for heavier parts (4,000 lb capacity), oversized contact assembly, rotating contacts and different sized coils (16”, 20” and 19.5”) to replace the standard 12” coil. The available voltages are 230, 380, 415, 460 and 575.
The AD-2045 Wet Horizontal Unit is a 4,000 Amp AC, 5,000 Amp full wave DC unit with a 54” (137 cm) capacity. Options for the AD-2045 include a long part capacity (102”), dual palm button, reinforced rail for heavier parts (4,000 lb capacity), oversized contact assembly, rotating contacts and different sized coils (16”, 20” and 19.5”) to replace the standard 12” coil. The available voltages are 230, 380, 415, 460 and 575.
The Magnaflux MD Series are multi-directional wet horizontal units that are more versatile than the other units offered. These units are able to use multi-directional magnetization for finding defects or inconsistencies in just one cycle, saving time. There are two or three different outputs available and they are all independently adjustable. The ability to mix and match current types and adjusting current levels gives the user countless combinations to choose from that are able to test a wide variety of parts.
The MD-2030 Multi-Directional Wet Horizontal Unit is a 3,000 Amp full wave DC/half wave DC, 2,500 Amp AC MD output unit with a 41” (104 cm) capacity. Options for the MD-2030 include an autobath (22” stroke), dual palm button (instead of footswitch), 16” coil (instead of flux coils) and a demag MD-2030. Available voltages include 230, 380, 415, 460 and 575.
The MD -2060 Multi-Directional Wet Horizontal Unit is a 6,000 Amp full wave DC/half wave DC, 5,000 Amp MD output unit with a 41” (104 cm) capacity. Options for the MD-2060 include a long part capacity (89”), an autobath (22” stroke), dual palm button (instead of footswitch), 16” coil (instead of flux coils) or a demag MD-2060. Available voltages include 380, 415, 460 and 575.
The MD-3-2060 Multi-Directional Wet Horizontal Unit is a 6,000 Amp full wave DC/half wave DC, 5,000 Amp AC MD output, 41” (104 cm) capacity and a 16” coil standard. Options for the MD-3-2060 include a long part capacity (89”), an extra long part capacity (133”), an autobath (22” stroke), dual palm button (instead of footswitch), different size coils (20” and 19.5”) instead of the 16” coil and a demag MD-3-2060. A / ADH / AD Wet Horizontal Series
The Magnaflux A-2030, ADH-2045 and AD-2045 are our most economical standard wet bench units. They offer great particle mobility for finding surface and sub-surface defects, and the versatility of using AC or DC magnetization (except A-2030). The two outputs are independently adjustable to set each magnetic field, circular or longitudinal. Magnetization shot time is adjustable, allowing better development of indications.

Multi-Directional - Wet Horizontal Units
The Magnaflux Multi-Directional units are the most versatile standard units. The MD Series offers time savings multidirectional magnetization for finding defects in all orientations with one cycle. The two or three outputs are independently adjustable to balance the magnetic field intensity, and each output offers AC, HWDC or One Phase FWDC output.
The user can mix and match current types while adjusting current levels creating virtually infinite combinations for the operator. These combinations allow the machine to be used with a wide range of parts, while the Customer Programmable Settings insure repeatability whether you process the same part every day or once a year. Supervisor Locks keeps stored settings safe from inadvertent variation.
