    Description



    The Dakota Ultrasonics CMXDLP+ is the premium model in the CMX Series of Gauges. It efficiently measures both coating and wall thickness from a single side. In Pulse-Echo mode, it automatically eliminates coating thickness, aiding in pinpointing corrosion and pitting without removing the coating.

    The A-Scan Display Mode shows waveform echoes graphically, facilitating optimal gauge settings adjustment. The new E-EV Operating Mode ("Echo-Echo-Verify") ensures measurement accuracy by verifying with subsequent echoes.

    The oversized backlit LCD displays critical settings, including Velocity, Operating Mode, Alarms, and Scan Mode. The backlight can be set to ON, OFF, or AUTO.

    Five user-selected operating modes are available:

    Coating On: Measures wall and coating thickness separately using Pulse-Echo.

    Coating Off: Measures wall thickness only using Pulse-Echo.

    Temperature Compensated: Adjusts calibration for material temperature changes while measuring wall thickness using Pulse-Echo.

    Thru-Coat: Measures wall thickness only using Echo-Echo, excluding coating.

    Coating Only Mode (CT): Measures coating thickness in the range of 0.0005 to 0.100 inches (0.013 to 2.540 mm). Range may vary slightly based on the coating.
