Ultrasonic Delays

Ultrasonic delay lines for ultrasonic transducers used in flaw and thickness measurements allow acoustic waves to focus at the appropriate focal length to allow accurate inspections. Delays also protect transducers from wear and are replaceable once they are worn below an appropriate level. Damped transducers used in conjunction with delays provide excellent near surface resolution and higher transducer frequencies improve overall resolution of inspected areas. Berg Engineering sells ultrasonic delays for a variety of transducer types, including DFR style, K-Pen Style and European G.MN types.
