The Labino MidBeam Pro Kiruna is a ruggedized, high-intensity UV-A light engineered specifically for high-risk environments. Designed for Offshore Oil Rigs, Refineries, Aerospace, and Defense, this explosion-proof unit ensures maximum safety for NDT inspection teams operating in volatile atmospheres.
The Pro Kiruna has survived a gauntlet of rigorous testing—including thermal conditioning, impact, and drop tests—to earn its IP66 ingress protection rating and ATEX certification (Certificate: ITS17ATEX402144X). Built to perform in any climate, it remains fully operational in extreme temperatures ranging from -4°F (-20°C) up to 104°F (+40°C).
The Pro Kiruna is one of the most versatile explosion-proof lights on the market, meeting several global safety and military standards:
ATEX & IECEx: Certified for Group II, Zone II.
NFPA 70: Article 500 for Class I (Division II locations).
MIL-STD-810G: Successfully passed US Military Salt Fog and Explosive Atmosphere tests.
Compliance: Fully compliant with ASTM E3022-15, Rolls-Royce RRES 90061, and Airbus AITM6-1001.
Equipped with four high-performance UV LEDs, the Pro Kiruna delivers a powerful intensity of 4,000 μw/cm². To maximize uptime, the unit features an internal charging system; simply use the included charger to power the batteries without removing them from the lamp (Note: Charging must occur outside explosive atmospheres). For continuous operation, the light can also be used with a plug-in power module.
