    The Universal Hardness Testers LD250 and LD750 offer a comprehensive range of hardness testing methods, including Rockwell, Superficial Rockwell, Brinell, Brinell HBT, and Vickers, conforming to ASTM and DIN EN ISO international standards.

    Features:
    • One Touch Measurements: Equipped with the AFFRI System, ensuring high load accuracy and measurement resolution for hardness tests.
    • User-Friendly Operation: The hardness test cycle is automatically executed with a single start input, including contact with the specimen, active sliding clamping, preloading and loading, switching to optic lens, autofocus by image brightness scanning, measurement through the camera, and return stroke at the programmed distance.
    • Auto-Contact and Clamping: Fully motorized adjustable testing vertical capacity with automatic contact and clamping from any distance, recognized at any position within the vertical stroke.
    • Robust Design: Suitable for heavy and bulky samples, easily placed using a forklift or overhead-traveling crane. Capable of functioning in hostile environments.
    • Auto-Compensation of Deflections: AFFRI System ensures continuous contact with unstable or deflecting samples, maintaining accuracy even in extreme conditions.
    • Hardness Software: Preinstalled software prevents setting errors, providing color highlighted results, live statistics, test settings programs, result archives, and various export options (PDF, TXT, CSV, DOD, XLS). Supports data entry via code bar scanning and outputs via RS232, USB, and Ethernet. Compatible with INDUSTRY 4.0 standards.

    MAIN FEATURES
     
    MOTORIZED TURRET
    Automatic two position turret with one indenter and one objective, easily changeable with manual screwing. Auto-rotating, auto-tool-switching and auto-centering for a completely automatic hardness test cycle. (On request 8 position)
     
    CLAMPING SYSTEM
    Secure contact with the specimen is always maintained, even in the unlikely event of any specimen movement during the operation cycle. The clamping system assures complete stability of any test piece throughout the test cycle, even if it’s oiled, rusty or dirty.
     
    HARD BASE
    The wide work table base is capable of bearing masses over 3000 kg and special fixtures or anvils. Hardness measurements on bulky and irregular test pieces which cannot be easily reached by the regular bench hardness testers
     
    AUTOFOCUS
    Automatic focus adjustment for each optic with precise positioning at any magnification by mean of real image scanning brightness, at continuous step for infinite accuracy. This system assures high reading standards, reproducible focusing quotes and reduces reading time. Hardness results are not affected by subjectivity.
     
    AUTO-READING THROUGH CAMERA
    From perfectly polished to rough & etched samples, the software automatically measure indents on any sample surface. Automatic light regulation on dark, opaque or polished samples. The software controls and adjusts the light and contrast to find the right combination and measure the indent.
     
    PROTECTED DIAMOND INDENTER
    All Affri diamond indenters have a life-span longer tanks to the special protective cup. This indenter retracts and moves down just after the test piece is clamped thereby minimizing the risk to accidental shock.
