    Description

        

    DayCor® ROM is the premier aerial UV & IR camera with HD video and frame cameras in a gyro stabilized gimbal payload. The system has outstanding sensitive sensors and cutting-edge technology designed to detect faulty electrical components, oil spills, fire mapping and pipeline problems.

    DayCor® ROM records and collects imaging and radiometric readings of corona discharge as well as hot spots with GPS data.  Used for both predictive and preventative maintenance, ROM is the most robust solution available for corona detection.

    Light in weight, ROM is both easy to install and configured for gyro-stabilized gimbaled payloads of sizes and mounts that will match most helicopters and UAVs.

    UV INSPECTIONS AT HIGH SPEEDS

    DayCor® ROM can detect and capture images of corona discharges at speeds of up to 100 km/h without missing corona events or smearing output images. Additional selected sensors also perform well at high speeds.

    COMPLETE CONTROL

    You use a Hand-Control-Unit (HCU) to operate the system, including the Turret-Camera-Unit (TCU) and other mounted cameras.

    DATA MANAGEMENT

    DayCor® ROM comes with a data management system that provides exact information about the inspected grid including the identity of each installation, past performance, past recorded events, failures, route and more. Data collected while in flight is synchronized with geographical and/or topographical maps.

    EASY TO INSTALL & LIGHT

    Installation of your DayCor® ROM is a simple and standard process. Ofil makes the camera and associated gimbals out of lightweight structures and composite covers.

    VIDEO RECORDING & STORAGE

    All recorded video from DayCor® ROM has radiometric data of corona, hot spots, date & time, geographic positions, voice and/or text annotations.
