    Description



    The PR-9 Sonic Tester is specifically designed for the racing industry and is commonly used to measure the thickness of various components such as cylinder walls, head ports, decks, chassis tubing, body panels, and windshields. One notable feature is its dual-element probe, which can detect hidden corrosion or deterioration on the blind surface in the water jacket area before any boring process.

    The high-speed scan capability allows the device to take 100 measurements per second, saving time when scanning an entire cylinder. To find the minimum thickness, users can drag the probe from the cylinder's bottom to the deck area at a specific clock position, switch off the scan, and precisely locate the minimum thickness.

    The PR-9 offers three material calibration options (single point, two-point, and target velocity) for enhanced accuracy. It also comes with cylinder wall mapping software for manually generating reports. Additionally, the product is backed by a 5-year limited warranty, reflecting our confidence in its quality.
