    Description



    The Dakota ZX-5DL Wall Thickness Gauge accurately measures the thickness and corrosion of metals, ceramics, glass, and rigid plastics from a single side. It can measure up to 36 inches (915 mm) depending on the material.

    It includes built-in data logging for 10,000 values in batches of 250 readings, supporting up to 40 batches with USB output. Data can be transferred in ".csv" format or viewed using the free Datacomm Software.

    The ZX-5DL allows the operator to choose from 8 preset materials and program 2 custom material velocities. It also enables free adjustment of velocity, calibration to a known thickness sample, and a 2-point calibration for optimal linearity. The device can operate in Single Thickness Reading mode or Scan mode, where dragging the probe over a large area records the minimum thickness reading.

    The ZX-5DL probe is waterproof and can be submerged in water. The gauge is impact-resistant and environmentally sealed (IP65) to provide trouble-free operation under the toughest field conditions.
