Plate test trolley for the ultrasonic testing of Heavy plates for lamination-like internal flaws.

Mechanized manual inspection, i.e. the operator tests the stationary plate by moving the trolley over the plate surface.

 

Data of the Trolley:

  • 5 or 8 test channels
  • USIP 40 instrument , 10 channel
  • Ultraproof software for data recording and presentation
  • Coupling via water gap, 10 liter water container
  • Test speed: walking speed
  • Power supply by incorporated accumulator (capacity approx. 3,5 hours)

Plates to be tested:

  • Thickness 5 – 100 mm
  • Temperature <= 50°C
  • Surface as rolled, without loose scale, free of grease and oil
